L2 Consulting works with an international client base of life science industries in finance, business planning, M+A, program design, executional oversight and interim management. Scientifically, L2 has contributed to over 300 new drug clinical trial applications (preclinical), has raised over U$200m in new funding and has been pivotal in closing 6 mid-sized M&A’s in the industry (including execution of full due diligence) with deal values of up to US$50m.

Location(s) of work: Ottawa, Ontario

Title of the position: Vice-President, Sales, Marketing and Scientific Program Management

• Establishing the strategic policies and objectives of the company over the next three years (2025-2028).
• Preparing the budget and have it approved by the Board of Directors.
• Establishing financial and administrative controls over expenses.
• Sharing its vision for the next three years to middle managers and ensuring the layout plan is properly implemented.
• Managing the scientific design (protocol development) and allocate proper resources to each scientific project.
• Negotiating the scientific processes to be applied and developing protocols, ensuring that these are executed and reviewing of conclusion reports to be sent to the regulatory agencies such as Health Canada and the US FDA.
• Ensuring that the programs that will be executed meet the necessary standards and allow molecules to move to the next stage, which would normally be clinical research in humans.

Required qualifications: A PhD in a related scientific field is required accompanied by at least 10 years of related experience is required.

Terms of employment: Permanent

Language requirements: Advanced level of English proficiency is required. Knowledge of Hindi would be a great asset.

Hourly wage:  Hourly wage of $91.00. The VP shall also be eligible to a bonus plan based on performance, at the sole discretion of the employer.

Number of paid working hours per week: 35 hours per week
