Location: Welland, ON L3C 4Z8

Salary: $20.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of food service, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in food preparation and delivery.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a productive and compliant team.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including sanitation practices and proper food handling procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budgets to maintain cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to streamline service and ensure timely food delivery.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures, updating them as needed to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, addressing maintenance needs and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, recognizing achievements, and addressing conflicts effectively.

 Eligibility Requirements:

  • Completion of high school diploma is required
  • Preferably 1 to under 7 months of experience in food service.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations, food hygiene, and customer service principles.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and basic office applications is preferred.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
