We are seeking a Marketing Specialist for a full-time, permanent position of 30 hours per week. This role offers a salary range of CAD $39 to CAD $41 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with overtime pay at a rate of 1.5 times for hours worked beyond the 44th hour. Our office is located at 28 South Unionville, Unit 2091, Unionville, ON L3R 4P9. Fluency in English is required. This position is available for telecommuting/remote work.

The main responsibilities for this position include:

• Evaluate communication strategies and programs
• Implement communication strategies and programs
• Prepare written material such as reports, briefs, website content
• Train staff
• Write speeches, presentations and press releases
• Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
• Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
• Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
• Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
• Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
• Gather, research and prepare communications material
• Initiate and maintain contact with the media
• Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions
• Conduct analytical marketing studies
• Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
• Design market research questionnaires
• Develop portfolio of marketing materials
• Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions
• Develop marketing strategies
• Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
• Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials

You must have the following qualifications:

1) Education: College/CEGEP

2) Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

3) Computer and technology knowledge:

- Adobe Photoshop

- MS Windows

- MS Office
