Food Service Supervisor – 1522091 Ontario Limited DBA Arcata Pizzeria
Location: 3021 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E 1S3
Position: Cook
Vacancy: 1
Pay: $19.50 per hour, with overtime and benefits
Job Type: Permanent, full-time (35-40 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Arcata Pizzeria is looking for a Cook to help us run our restaurant smoothly! If you’ve got experience managing a team and love working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Manage kitchen operations
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets
Required Skills:
- Minimum education of High School
- Experience of least 1-7 months as a Cook or a related role
- Fluent in English
