Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Supervisor

Conditions:
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-time
Working hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week
Compensation: $29 ~ $35 per hour (Depending on experience)
Location: 3862 Wellington Street, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 3Z4
Responsibilities:
Supervising and coordinating activities of the team members who are early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants to meet the company’s standards.
Participating in meetings with the owner and the manager for operational purposes such as hiring and planning etc.
Leading the training plans for ECE practicum students, newly hired educators, and the team members who are in need of professional development.
Crafting and implementing educational programs that aid in the holistic development of children.
Leading engaging activities for children, including storytelling, music sessions, and creative arts and crafts.
Organizing children for daily activities, including outdoor activities and field trips.
Supporting children in their daily routines, including help with eating, dressing, and bathroom use.
Observing children’s behavior and development and providing detailed reports to educators and supervisors.
Up keeping the daycare facilities and equipment, as well as assisting with cleaning and meal preparation.
Actively participating in staff meetings to discuss the children's progress and address any challenges.
Preparing reports on children and activities as required by the administration.
Opening and closing daycare.

Requirements:
Language: English
Education: Completion of post-secondary level of education in early childhood education
BC ECE Certificate which is certified by BC ECE Registry is required.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Childcare or Child Education is required.
