Job Title: Construction Trade Helper (NOC 75110)
Terms of Employment: 30 - 40 hours per week, Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $26.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
No of Positions: 1
Job Duties:
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms,
- Mix, pour and vibrate concrete walls.
- Erect and dismantle Slab Table Forms
- Setup/takedown Scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- Assist in layout
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Assist Riggers and Crane Operators to move materials and forms at the jobsite
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Education: No Formal Education required.
Experience: 2 years’ experience required.
Language: Basic English is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive Tasks, physically demanding, requires bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling Heavy loads, requires lifting, pulling, and carrying of equipment and other objects, Standing for long period of time, Hand-eye co-ordination.

- Ability to follow Safe Work Practices and Procedures.
- Ability to work safely in confined spaces, as well as high height levels and in noisy places
- Ability to work safely in dusty work environments.
- Ability to bend, crouch, stand and kneel for long extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to do physical work for long shifts.
- Ability to be mobile and willing to travel to various job sites.
