Tandoori Fusion Indian Cuisine Ltd, an Indian restaurant situated in West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, CANADA, is looking for a full-time Ethnic Cook. It serves all types of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.

Position: Ethnic Cook

Salary: $35.00/Hour for 32 hours per week

Minimum Education: Senior (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to 2 years experience in the relevant field.

Job Description:

• Plan portion sizes and calculate food cost.
• Take full responsibility to prepare and cook complete meals or specific dishes like Fish curry, Butter chicken etc and foods.
• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Be able to customize dishes to accommodate customers with allergies and food intolerance.
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques’ and safe handling practices.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
• Manage orders of supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate and organize buffets and other services.
• Oversee and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Oversee and manage kitchen operations.
• Estimate food requirements and costs.
• Be flexible with working hours.
• Be able to present high-quality food and presentation to enhance customer satisfaction
