Responsibilities
Tasks
- Monitor and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry animals’ health.
- Set and monitor water lines, airflow, and temperature in pens and chicken coops.
- Perform or assist in performing breeding and grooming activities of farm animals.
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops based on seasonal schedules and farm requirements.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
- Plant, fertilize, spray, and harvest crops.
- Feed and tend livestock and poultry.
- Repair or assist in repairing farm equipment, fences, and structures.
- Maintain quality control standards for livestock, poultry, and crops.
