Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient service, adherence to company standards, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage shifts by ensuring the team has all the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures for consistent quality and timely delivery of menu items.
  • Follow Tim Hortons' standards and guidelines for preparing products and operating equipment, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and coach a diverse team to achieve and maintain Tim Hortons' high standards of operation.
  • Promote a respectful, positive team environment by managing team members with open communication and understanding.
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and address any performance or staffing issues as they arise.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper storage to minimize waste, prevent shortages, and keep the restaurant fully stocked.
  • Support financial operations by tracking sales, managing daily cash flow, and assisting with budget planning and cost control.
  • Address customer complaints and special requests promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with food handling and workplace safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the restaurant meets Tim Hortons' cleanliness, organization, and health standards.
  • Drive sales through the execution of promotional campaigns, upselling strategies, and consistently high product quality.
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant equipment to ensure it operates properly, and schedule repairs to prevent disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to analyze performance metrics and implement operational improvement strategies.

 

Job Requirements

  • Relevant education or 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in the quick service or restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to manage staff schedules, performance, and training.
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
