Job description:
COFU Sushi Cafe Ltd. is currently looking for a permanent and full-time Food Service Manager at our Japanese restaurant, COFU Pressed Sushi.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Recruit staff and oversee staff training
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Education, skills and experience required:
- Completion of Secondary School
- Must have a minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
- Maintain exceptional hygiene and presentation
- High interpersonal skills
Language:
- Communication skills in English
Compensation and Benefits:
$28.85 / hour + Tip, Discount on the company product, 4% Vacation Pay
