Currently, we are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant who will assist us in ensuring the smooth operation of our business on a day-to-day basis.

 

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Wage: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour (Depending on working experience)

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Working Location: Suite 104, 338 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Y 3X2

Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation

 

Responsibility:

 

  • Compile, reconcile, and review correspondence, presentations, blog, publications, progress reports and construction documents.
  • Sort and distribute any project-related mails in form of physical and electronic, while monitoring the flow of information within the organization and with external contractors or clients.
  • Coordinate with project manager and confirm conference, appointments and meetings.
  • Manage office supply orders and monitor inventory levels.
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries and transfer messages if necessary
  • Organize and maintain important digital copy, blueprints and contracts of the archiving systems
  • Develop and implement office procedures.
  • Welcome clients and stakeholders, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Plan travel itineraries and handle reservation arrangements.
  • Assist in gathering other information to generate contents for the company's Blog posts.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Completion of a one or two-year college or other program for administrative assistant or secretaries OR at least 1 year previous clerical experience is required.
  • Detail oriented and a strong team player.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
