Mountain Peak International Trade LTD. is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Meat Cutter to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our customers receive premium-quality meat products. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals in a dynamic and growing company that prioritizes freshness, quality, and customer satisfaction. Wage: $19/hour, 30 - 40 hours per week

Job Duties:

  • Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, ensuring quality and freshness.
  • Cut, bone, and grind meats as required, using knives, saws, and other specialized equipment.
  • Prepare cuts of meat according to customer specifications, including skinning and portioning.
  • Weigh, package, label, and display cuts of meat for retail sale.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of meat products, monitor stock levels, and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure proper storage of meats in refrigerators or freezers, following temperature guidelines.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and procedures to prevent contamination.
  • Work efficiently with the team to meet production goals and fulfill customer orders.
  • Operate cutting and processing equipment safely and in accordance with company policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Meat Cutter is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and tools, including butchering, boning, and trimming.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation standards in a meat processing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and high product quality.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy products and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
