The Pharmacy Manager will work independently while managing the other pharmacists and pharmacy assistants/technicians. The successful candidate should have strong leadership skills, communication, dispensing and compounding skills, adherence to regulatory standards, and commitment to maintaining superior patient relations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc. Pharm or Pharm. D.)
- Licensed and registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacists
- APA and injection certified - preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Kroll
- Passionate and proactive mindset, well aware of cultural diversity
Responsibilities:
- Perform medical reviews and provide counselling services to patients
- Dispense all prescriptions accurately and timely
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all claims
- Adhere to all company policies, professional standards, laws, and regulations.
- Demonstrate the best customer service and empathy towards customers
- Administer injections as well as immunization
- Ensure all pharmaceutical products are stored properly and safely
- Give follow-up calls to patients when time allows, assuring their care is our highest priority
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: As per industry standard
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Pharmacist: 2 years or more
