JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education:College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Experience:2 years to less than 3 years

Work condition and physical capabilities:Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Personal suitability:Dependability, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player

Work site environment: Outdoors

Work setting: Various locations, Video production company

Supervision:3-4 people

On the road job:Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Experience and specialization:

Area of work experience: Costumier, Floor manager, Make-up artist, Special effects

Tasks:

• Supervise staff
• Design and co-ordinate special effects such as fire, explosion and crashes
• Apply cosmetic and special effects make-up to performers
• Oversee the acquisition, fitting and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes
• Schedule and oversee rehearsals
• Identify and list the necessary props and place them during rehearsals and performances
