Columbia Dungeness Crab Ltd. is looking for a financial officer to join our team.

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 2-3 years of experience

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail

Personal suitability: Accurate, Dependability, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Time Management, Adaptability

Job Duties:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll,
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems,
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements,
• Post journal entries,
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports,
• Prepare tax returns,
• Prepare trial balance of books,
• Reconcile accounts.

Terms of employment: Permanent position

Salary: $26.11/hour

Benefits: Relocation costs covered by the employer

Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Work Location: 12800 Bathgate Way, Suite 8, Richmond, BC, V6V 1Z4
