Job Type

  • Full-time, Permanent (35-40hrs/week)

Salary

  •  $ 25.50 per hour (paid bi-weekly)

Education

  • Completion of secondary school is an asset

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in the same field is required

Duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan office services, such as accommodation arrangements for employees, equipment procurement, supply management, disposal of assets, parking logistics, maintenance schedules, and security services.
  • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting, and project planning and management processes specific to the transportation sector
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • May supervise records management technicians and other related staff members involved in maintaining transportation-related documentation and records.
