Job Duties: 

1. Operations Management:
Plan and implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity and maintain service quality.
Ensure the kitchen is always stocked by ordering ingredients and supplies based on current needs and forecasts.
Assess and calculate the quantity of ingredients needed daily or weekly to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Develop and manage budgets, including projecting expenses and sales, to help control costs and maximize profitability.
Develop and maintain employee work schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak and off-peak hours.
Keep accurate records of inventory levels, equipment maintenance, sales, and food waste to monitor and improve operational efficiency.
Compile reports on sales, labor, inventory, and other relevant metrics to assist management in decision-making.

2. Staff Supervision and Training:
Oversee kitchen staff to ensure food preparation is done efficiently and meets restaurant standards.
Conduct initial training for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff, focusing on service standards, food handling, and safety protocols.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff members to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
Lead meetings to communicate restaurant goals, provide feedback, and recognize outstanding performance.

3. Quality Control and Customer Service:
Monitor food preparation and service to ensure they align with restaurant standards for quality, consistency, and presentation.
Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to maintain a high level of satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

4. Inventory and Cost Control:
Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure that all necessary supplies are on hand without overstocking.
Assess daily needs to ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize waste.

Qualifications:
1. College diploma in hospitality area or equivalent is preferred.
2. Proven 1-2 years' experience as a Food Service Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant environment.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
5. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
