Location: Edmonton, AB T6W 4H2
Salary: $23.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional advice on various beauty treatments to help clients achieve their desired look and maintain healthy skin and hair.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' hair and scalp to identify any issues or concerns, ensuring the most appropriate treatments are selected.
- Efficiently schedule and manage client appointments, ensuring a seamless experience from booking to service delivery.
- Tailor haircuts and trims to meet the specific instructions and style preferences of each client, ensuring satisfaction with the final result.
- Provide customized treatments designed to address specific hair and scalp conditions, promoting overall hair health and vitality.
- Thoroughly cleanse clients' hair with shampoo, preparing it for further treatments or styling.
- Expertly trim and groom beards and mustaches, enhancing the client's overall appearance.
- Administer a range of hair treatments, including waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp massages, to enhance the hair's texture and manageability.
- Skillfully apply various coloring methods, such as bleaching, tinting, dyeing, or rinsing, to achieve the desired color, frosting, or streaking effects.
- Clean, style, and maintain wigs and hairpieces, ensuring they look natural and are in optimal condition.
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair according to the client's preferences, achieving the desired look.
- Recommend hairstyles that complement the client's facial features and align with their personal tastes, enhancing their overall appearance.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma is the minimum requirement
- Minimum 1 year to 2 years of experience within similar role.
- Familiarity with front desk operations is a plus
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to upsell products and promote retail sales
- Understanding of proper sanitization practices in a salon environment
- Excellent english communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
