We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our main office in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This is a key role that requires excellent organizational skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

 

Work Location: 10309 102 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5J 0L1

Position: Administrative Assistant

Wage: $25.64 - $27.64 per hour (Depending on working experience)

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Benefits: Two weeks’ vacation with 4% vacation pay each calendar year;

                50% coverage of Sunlife Plan after a three-month probationary period;

 

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and edit a variety of documents including correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, and reports from dictation and handwritten notes;
  • Manage the flow of information by opening and distributing incoming regular and electronic mail, coordinating internal communications, and liaising with other departments and external organizations;
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings for the management team, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently;
  • Record and prepare accurate minutes of meetings;
  • Welcome clients and guests visiting Westrich Pacific Corp directing them to the appropriate person or department;
  • Respond to telephone and electronic inquiries, directing calls and messages as appropriate;
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations for the management team;
  • Receive incoming mail and parcels and distribute them in the office;
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by ordering and managing stock levels;
  • Organize and maintain both manual and computerized filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval of information;
  • Gather and compile data, statistics, and other information to support research and project activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required;
  • Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries

OR,

Previous clerical experience is required.

  • Great organizing skills and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
