Location:  346 Westmoreland Ave N Unit 105, Toronto, ON M6H 3A7 (on site)

Wage: $17 - $20 per hour                                                       

Permanent Full-time / 36 – 40 hours per week

Gaucho Pie is a Toronto, Ontario based bakery that is passionate about sharing delicious food with soul and stories. We specialize in empanadas, alfajores and other Argentinian goodies as well as pizza. We are looking for a person who is flexible and reliable, works well in a team, and has good interpersonal skills to join our team as a dough roller.

Duties:

• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
• Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
• Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
• Feed and unload processing machines
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school
• Experience: 1-2 years in bakery / large volume bakery
• Food safety/handling skills
• Food Safety Certificate
• Experience with roller operation
• Capable of weight handling up to 45kg (100lbs)
