Job description:
Salary: $28.39 per hour (full-time / 40 hours per week)
Work Location: Various locations across Ontario
Job description:
- Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
- Erect and dismantle forms and barricades required at construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprint, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for layout
- Prepare layouts, excavate, and understand elevations, leverage, and drainage and compaction methods.
- Handling of Artificial grass products made of polyethylene fibres and rubberized backing
- Layout artificial grass, measure cut and trim according to design requirements
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Job Requirements:
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Weight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Reliability, Team player
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity
