Work Location:

We are currently searching for an experienced.

Job Duties:

Our candidate will have the following:

• Prepare, measure and mark surface to be covered
• Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel
• Set tiles in position and apply pressure to affix tiles to base
• Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
• Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
• Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets
• Cut, polish and install marble and granite
• Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces
• Install tule strips

You will be required to train apprentices.

Skills requirements:

• 2-3 years of work experience in the trade

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Physically demanding; Handling heavy loads; Bending, crouching, Ability to distinguish between colours, Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Large workload, overtime required

Work site environment:

Odours, Dusty, Noisy

Own tools/equipment:

Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles

Hour of work:

From Monday to Friday

The shift is from 7:00 am  to 3:30pm

Terms of employment:

Permanent from 40 hours per week

Salary:

From    $34.75 to $ 37.00 to per hour
