Infinite Painting Inc.

We are currently searching for two experienced Construction Painters.

Work Location:

Various locations in the GTA

Duties:

• Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting.
• Apply paint to surfaces including wall, floors, doors, Baseboards and cabinets.
• Mix, match and apply paint, Varnish, sealant, shellac, enamel and others finishes.
• Scrape, sandpaper, prime or seal.
• Clean Walls to ensure proper adherence.
• Covering  exposed Surfaces with cloth, paper or plastic to ensure protection.
• Erect scaffolding, moves furniture and equipment as necessary.
• Work on Ladders to reach  high ceilings or walls.
• Remove fixtures such as a pictures, doorknobs, lamps and electric switch covers prior to painting.
• Fill cracks and to do patches when necessary 
• tape off areas when needed.
• Apply touch-ups .
• Apply several Coats according to paint directions.
• Utilize Spray guns for large jobs, doors, baseboards and cabinets.
• Remove paint splatters when finished.
• Clean up the entire area and all equipment’s including brushes and spray gun.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive with spray finish and wood finishing specializations with Graining, Marbleizing, Staining and Glazing.

You will be required to train apprentices.

Credentials:

• Working at heights training
• Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

Experience and specialization.

• Airless spray equipment
• Brush painting
• Conventional spray painting
• Electrostatic applications equipment
• Roller painting

Testing equipment experience

• Moisture gauges
• Wet micron gauges

Surface preparation experience

• Drywall taping/patching

Coating/application specialization

• Aggregate painting
• Fire retardants
• Multi-color finishes
• Urethanes

Wood finishing specialization

• Staining

Wall covering specialization

• Wallpaper

Additional information

Transportation/travel information:

• Valid driver’s licence
• Willing to travel

Weight handling

• Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Own tools/equipment

•  Steel-toed safety boots

Requirements:

• 2 years to less than 3 years

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hours per week

Hours of Work:

From Monday to Friday 

The shift is from 8 am to 4 pm

Salary:

From $ 29.00 to $ 32.00 per hour depending on your work experience
