Job description:
Wage: $28.39 per hour (full-time position, 40 hours per week) (must be able to work days, evenings and weekends)
Job Description:
- Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Estimate food requirements
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, grill, etc.)
- Clean kitchen and work areas and wash dishes as required
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 of experience in preparing and cooking Portuguese-style chicken, pork, fish, seafood, rice, soups, potatoes, regional dishes, etc.
