We are seeking a Store Manager - Retail for a full-time, permanent position of 30 hours per week. This role offers a salary range of CAD $43.50 to CAD $45.50 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with overtime pay at a rate of 1.5 times for hours worked beyond the 44th hour. Our shop is located at 25 The West Mall, Unit 1729, Etobicoke, ON M9C 1B8. Fluency in English is required. This position is available for telecommuting/remote work.
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Direct and control daily operations
- Evaluate daily operations
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Manage staff and assign duties
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
- Implement price and credits policies
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Determine staffing requirements
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
- Conduct performance reviews
You must have the following qualifications:
1) Languages: English
2) Education: College/CEGEP
3) Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
