Established in 2014 and currently have several locations with a total 20,000 square feet warehouse, Sirius Auto Parts Corp is an energetic, fast-paced and professional auto parts wholesaler with a head office located in Vaughan Ontario. Our inventory offers premium aftermarket and OEM parts, which cover all makes and models, and we keep expanding our inventory to meet customers’ needs.

Currently, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the team. In our company, you will get the opportunity to develop your skills and realize your ambitions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service capabilities.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
  3. Answer questions from customers, explain specifications, and offer assistance when required.
  4. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of procurement transactions and supplier performance.
  5. Utilize the company's purchasing power to secure supplies, cut lead times, find new suppliers, and optimise prices.
  6. Implement corrective actions and improvement plans for underperforming suppliers.
  7. Generate reports and conduct analyses on procurement activities, spending patterns, and savings achieved.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, production, and logistics to ensure alignment on procurement objectives and requirements. Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

  1. College diploma is required, preferably in the field of business administration, supply chain management, purchasing management, commerce, economics, or other related areas; higher education will be an asset.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of working experience, professional experience as a purchasing clerk or a related field will be an asset.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes, contract negotiations, vendor relationships, etc.
  4. Familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices related to procurement processes or contract management.
  5. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  7. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
