Job Duties: 

1. Execute a wide range of recipes, from appetizers to main courses and desserts, ensuring each dish meets Smitty's quality standards.
2. Adjust cooking techniques and timing based on the specific dish to achieve perfect results every time.
3. Carefully follow guidelines to prepare safe meals for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions, customize and adapt dishes to accommodate special customer requests and seasonal menu changes.
4. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen, food prep areas, and storage facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety, identify and address any potential issues or hazards promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Mentor and guide new kitchen staff in Smitty's culinary techniques and standards, provide ongoing training on food safety, proper handling procedures, and efficient kitchen practices.
6. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for fresh ingredients, pantry items, and kitchen equipment as needed, maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, keep detailed records of stock levels, usage, and orders to maintain an accurate inventory.
7. Keep track of new products and equipment that could enhance kitchen operations and recommend upgrades when necessary.
8. Delegate tasks appropriately to maximize productivity and maintain smooth kitchen operations, oversee the day-to-day activities of kitchen staff, ensuring everyone is working efficiently and harmoniously.
9. Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to maintain a spotless kitchen environment, ensure that all workstations, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized after use.

Qualifications:
1. At least High School Diploma is Needed
2. Proven 7 months to 1 year experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service establishment
3. Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
4. Team player with good communication skills.
5. Physically demanding job and need standing for extended periods
