Specific skills: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by posting information to accounting journals or software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices, Ensure that the company's bank account statements are reconciled with their internal accounting records regularly, which involves identifying and resolving any discrepancies, Prepare and process the company’s payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. This also involves calculating deductions and benefits, Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, which are essential for periodic reviews and end-of-year financial closing, Assist with tax preparation and filing, including computing taxes owed, preparing tax returns, and ensuring prompt payment, Use and maintain digital and physical financial records through systematic filing and organization of documents.
