Wage: $25.00 per hour (full-time position, 40 hours/week)

- Maintain financial accounting records of revenues and expenses
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, prepare financial statements
- Verify bookkeeping procedures and recording of financial transactions
- Maintain payroll records, submit tax remittance forms and other government documents
- Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Calculate and prepare payments for payroll and utility, tax and other bills
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution form, HST remittances and other government documents
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and financial statements and other accounting reports
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting
- College program in accounting
- Computer skills & good with keyboard
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
