Job Duties:
1. Assisting in preparation of dough and filling according to established recipes and standards.
2. Measuring and mixing ingredients with precision to maintain consistency and quality.
3. Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and food processors under the guidance of experienced staff.
4. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and organizing storage areas.
5. Package take-out orders with attention to detail, ensuring each order is properly sealed and presented, and package finished products for sale, including wrapping, packaging, and boxing.
6. Assisting with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.Receive deliveries, unpack supplies, and store items in designated refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
7. Collaborating with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
8. Providing friendly and helpful customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with purchases, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring accuracy.
8. Portion and wrap foods as needed, adhering to portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
9. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, assisting in ingredient preparation.
10. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, to uphold food safety standards.
11. Wash dishes and other items by hand, employing proper sanitation techniques to maintain cleanliness.
12. Remove kitchen garbage and trash promptly to maintain a tidy and hygienic workspace.
13. Sharpen kitchen knives regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety.
14. Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and inviting environment for both staff and customers.
15. Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare fresh ingredients for dumpling fillings and other menu items.
Qualifications:
1. Completion of High School.
2. Prior experience working in a bakery or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
3. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
