Job description:

Position: Pastry Maker (Portuguese Pastries) - NOC 63202

Wage: $30.00 per hour; 40 hours per week

Location of Work:  3816 Bloor Street West, Etobicoke, ON M9B 6C2

Job Description:

• Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread and all other Portuguese traditional specialties including Portuguese cream tarts “pastel de nata” and “bolo rei”
• Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
• Prepare dough, icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Bake mixed doughs and batters
• Decorate cakes, pastries and other baked goods
• Ensure quality of baked products meet our standards
• Place orders for baking supplies
• Determine type and quantity of pastries to produce

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Specialization in Portuguese pastries
