Tasks
Drive safe and take responsibility for the maintenance of all equipment, including tractor, various trailers and accompanying hardware supplies; Record load information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption and review all dispatch paperwork before the trip; Perform a comprehensive daily MTO pre-trip inspection as well as periodic load inspections and adjustment as necessary of the safe delivery of customer products; Ensure that all driving operations complies with company regulations, regulatory agencies guidelines and regulations; Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps; Refuel vehicle and check or replace oil as needed; Complete and submit all signed paperwork to assure timely billing and receipt of payment; Perform other basic mechanic duties such as changing tires, bulbs and replacing pipes at the time of emergency; Pick up goods, materials, verify load for accuracy and deliver them as instructed.
