Job description:

Wage: $35.00 per hour (full-time position; 40 hours per week)

Location of Work:  Various locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

Ÿ  Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

Ÿ  Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Ÿ  Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

Ÿ  Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

Ÿ  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

Ÿ  Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.

Job Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry work
