Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
Security and Safety: Bondable, Driver’s validity licence check
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Willing to travel

Switch Network Installer and Repairer Specific Skills
Inspect and test trunking systems, install electromechanical, analog and digital trunking systems, circuits and equipment in telecommunications central process and switching centers, analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software
Telecommunications Service Tester Specific Skills
Determine nature, cause and location of trouble, Initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel, Complete and maintain test and service reports, operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
Telecommunications Equipment Technician Specific Skills
Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment, Inspect and test operation of telecommunications equipment
