At Fisher Coating we work hard and play hard. Most of our team members enjoy the typical Squamish adventure activities outside of work, so we keep a tight 645am-245pm Mon-Fri schedule to allow for plenty of time to play outside in the afternoons, and on the weekends!

Our work is indoors, so you’ll keep warm and dry in the winter months. There is also plenty of room to grow within the company, and potential for other positions available in the future. We are willing to train anyone with the right attitude and work ethic, as the culture of our work environment is key to us. We currently have an awesome staff that like to be active together outside of work, and / or have a Friday afternoon wind-down together before the weekend. Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding, brazing and soldering equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers
• Operate existing welding machines  
• Fabricate or repair metal parts
• Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line
• Make adjustments to welding heads and tooling as needed

Skills Requirements:

• Experience as a mechanic or small machine operator is required
• PPE required- Steel toed boots/shoes
• Must be punctual and reliable – We work on a production line so every position is necessary and important.
• Wear protective equipment such as hard hat, hearing protection, safety-toe boots, and safety glasses.
• Safety conscious
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and equally motivated working independently.
• Self-motivated and dependable with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Education Requirements:

Completion of secondary school minimum.
