Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker/ Caregiver to provide essential care and support. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for the individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Help with mobility and physical exercises
- Support with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean living space
- Monitor and report changes in health conditions
- Accompany to appointments, if needed
Qualifications:
- 7-12 months of experience in a similar role (home care, nursing, or related field)
- College diploma in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others
Location:
Work will be provided at the employer's residence in Surrey, BC.
