Position Description

Position: Cleaning Supervisor

Type of employment: Full-Time; Permanent

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland areas in BC

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $35.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are being followed.
• Coordinate the work of staff, prepare work schedules, and supervise them.
• Monitor and supervise the use of cleaning materials.
• Make recommendations for or arrange for additional maintenance services (e.g., repair work, renovations, painting, etc.).
• Organize staff meetings to implement policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with the hiring and training of new employees.
• Maintain open communication with the manager about safety issues, supplies, and other business-related concerns.
• Help in preparing the budget and estimating the cost of the project.
• May perform certain cleaning duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Experience as a cleaner or previous experience in a particular area of cleaning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
