- Rate of Pay: $65.00 per hour
- Overtime: 1.5 times the normal rate as per provincial regulations
- Benefits Package: 4% vacation pay paid bi-weekly

- Education: Bachelor Degree in related field
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in systems analysis, data administration, software engineering, network design, or computer programming

Job Duties:
- Develop and implement IT policies and strategies to support testing, inspection, and certification processes.
- Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of IT systems for laboratory operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data and testing records.
- Monitor systems for potential cyber threats and apply preventive measures.
- Manage and upgrade testing software, databases, and laboratory equipment integration.
- Ensure regular maintenance and timely updates of IT infrastructure.
- Lead projects, including system upgrades, automation, and software development.
- Coordinate with testing engineers and other departments to optimize IT processes.
- Provide technical support to staff for software, network, and equipment issues.
- Identify and resolve problems efficiently to prevent work disruptions.
- Supervise and train IT staff on new technologies and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ensure employees understand and effectively use IT systems.
- Ensure computer systems comply with ISO 17025, ISO 17020, and ISO 17065 standards.
- Maintain documentation of system operations, security measures, and IT policies.
