Job description:

Wage: $34.90 per hour (full-time - 40 hours per week)

Location of Work:  Various locations across the Greater Vancouver Area and in British Columbia

Job Description:

Ÿ  decorative finishing, inspired concrete structures and hardscapes for commercial and industrial complexes

Ÿ  smooth and finish freshly poured concrete

Ÿ  preservation and restoration

Ÿ  check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials

Ÿ  direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade

Ÿ  fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement

Ÿ  level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification

Ÿ  impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

Ÿ  apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces

Ÿ  repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of construction experience
• Ability to learn and develop practical skills
• Capable of observing all health and safety codes
