We are looking for a passionate Home Child Care Provider to create a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.

• Oversee and look after children with responsibility;
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times in the home;
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks;
• Assist with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and toileting (incl. preparing formulas and changing diapers);
• Plan and engage in activities supporting children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development;
• Implement behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement;
• Provide regular updates to parents on their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns;
• Administer first aid and medications as needed;
• Maintain a clean environment and guide children on personal hygiene;
• May keep the daily activity record and health condition information of each child.

• Completion of secondary school is preferred but not mandatory;
• Completion of a training program in child care or a related field is asset;
• Child care or household management or any related experience is asset;
• Demonstrated ability to perform work is usually required;
• First aid certification and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training is asset;
• Working knowledge of English;
• Ability to work independently and be positive.
