Canadian Excavating Ltd. is an excavation company specializing in residential demolition, excavation, underground utility, and sewage drain installation. Along with experience, we have the latest in site development technology to give our customers the most accurate estimates on their jobs and cost control. We are skilled and dedicated professionals taking pride in our attention to detail. Currently, we are hiring an Excavation Worker to join our team.

Position: Excavation Worker

Number of Positions: 1

Term of Employment: Full-time; Permanent

Wage: $24.00 per hour 

Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland and Greater Vancouver (BC) areas as per company’s work contracts with its customers.

Position responsibilities:

• Load and unload construction materials and tools and move them to work areas.
• Place and remove barricades as required at excavation or demolition sites.
• Remove rubble and other debris at work sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
• Assist crew in excavation and placing drainage pipes and other underground utilities.
• Assist material or soil transporting truck drivers in backing up to and moving from the job site by hand-eye coordination.
• Clean up debris and dirt spilled on nearby properties and roads during excavating and demolishing.

Position Requirements:

• No experience needed; we will train
• Functional English is required
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
