As a Web Developer at Floof Pet Care Inc., you will play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our booking platform. This position combines technical expertise with creativity to ensure a seamless experience for our clients and pet sitters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the company’s web-based booking platform.
- Ensure platform functionality, user experience, and scalability to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate promotional campaigns into the platform.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the platform based on feedback.
- Implement security and data protection protocols.
- Optimize website performance and user interface for mobile and desktop devices.
- Provide technical support and updates to ensure uninterrupted platform use.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in web development, with expertise in programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Knowledge of backend development and database management (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Complete Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience in designing and maintaining web platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and user experience principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Compensation: $37 per hour with a workload of 30 hours a week, up to 5 paid sick days per year, flexible working hours.
