ABOUT FAMOUS BOURBON CHICKEN

Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the staffs in our restaurant do our best to provide visitors with good chicken. Due to recent business growth, we are looking for a Restaurant Manager to joint our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

 

LOCATION

1485 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3G 0W4

 

SALARY

$30.00 per hour, 30-40 hours per week

 

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Full-time; Permanent

 

DUTIES

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures for the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality assurance programs.
  2. Prepare budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and implement cost-control measures to meet profitability targets.
  3. Oversee purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory to ensure efficient operations and profitability.
  4. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  5. Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and enforce policies to maintain a productive work environment.
  6. Address customer complaints and inquiries to ensure satisfaction and foster customer loyalty.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience and build repeat clientele.
  8. Collaborate with chefs to design and update menus that cater to customer preferences and market trends.
  9. Coordinate promotional activities, special events, and marketing efforts to boost sales and visibility.
  10. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  1. A college diploma is required, prefer in a field related to hospitality or food and beverage service.
  2. Several years of experience in Food Service/Hospitality sector, previous experience as a mid-level manager would be an asse.
  3. Ability to recruit, mentor, and retain talent, ensuring high team morale and productivity.
  4. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to address staff and customer issues effectively.
  5. Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
