Job Description

Big Wheel Burger provides the best quality burgers, fries, sodas and shakes through local, sustainable and environmentally friendly resources. We are 10 years Carbon Neutral! They are actively looking for 1 Assistant Manager at their location based at 601 Bruce Avenue Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada

Job Duties

• Supervise, lead and train team members
• Set the pace for the flow of the restaurant
• Manage the schedule and inventory levels based on store needs to meet budget goals
• Monitor quality and consistency of products to ensure they are up to BWB standards
• Provide excellent customer service

Employment requirements

• A proven record of leadership from previous management role(s)
• Senior Secondary Education is required
• 1 year (minimum) of restaurant experience
• A positive attitude, outgoing personality and a great sense of humour
• Technology literacy (Microsoft Office/ POS systems/ delivery and take out apps)
• Can demonstrate patience and empathy to build an amazing team
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets, inventory, and scheduling

Benefits

As per BC Employment Standards Act, 4% vacation pay of the gross salary each pay period or 10 days of paid vacation (worker will choose).
