Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the assigned store, ensuring high quality products are consistently delivered.
  • Implement Subway's guidelines and procedures to maintain operational consistency.
  • Address maintenance or repair needs during the workday and regularly check equipment functionality, coordinating with maintenance teams or vendors as necessary.
  • Assist in coaching and motivating team members to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Manage the onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Draft, review, and adjust staff schedules, managing attendance and punctuality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the team, recognizing outstanding performers and providing feedback.
  • Maintain a harmonious work environment by resolving disputes among team members.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by responding to feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Promote in-store offers, keep the team informed about promotions, and encourage upselling.
  • Place orders for ingredients and materials, while managing inventory, tracking stock, sales, and waste.
  • Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
  • Ensure that the store complies with local, state, or federal regulations, including health inspections and labor laws.
  • Identify innovative ways to enhance operations, reduce costs, and increase sales, possibly providing feedback to upper management.

 

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a college program in food service administration, or hotel and restaurant management or 1 -2 years of experience in the food service sector.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.  
  • To be driven and not afraid to take decisive action.
  • Excellent supervisory skills and a strong understanding of customer service.
  • Ability to manage a team to achieve common goals.
  • Highly organized and efficient, working well under pressure.
