Job description:
We seek a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist us with daily activities. The ideal candidate will also help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Education: Secondary or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent education
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily personal care and mobility assistance.
- Administer medication and ensure timely intake.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements.
- Monitor and record the senior’s health status and report concerns promptly.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing personal care to elderly individuals.
- Proficiency in cooking and maintaining a clean environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Certified Caregiver with professional training is an asset.
Shifts are 9 am to 5 pm, Mondays to Fridays - 5 days a week for a total of 40 hours.
Pay: $23.00 per hour
