Permanent Position: Construction Electrician Helper (NOC # 75110)

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.

Main Location: Surrey, BC

Location: Candidate is required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, as per company contracts.

Wage Rate: $24 Hourly, for 35-40 Hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day

Education: No Education Required

Experience: No Experience Required. On job training is required.

Languages: Basic English

Type of Industry Experience: Electrical

Job Duties:

• Select tools, equipment, and construction materials from storage and transport items to the work site.
• Help in install wiring and cables & other equipment’s.
• Assist and work closely with electricians to complete tasks.
• Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, to maintain clean and safe job sites, free of debris.
• Operate various hand and power tools is an asset.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other temporary structures to facilitate the completion of specific tasks.
• Perform other related job duties as required.

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.

Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.

Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, refugees, youth & new immigrants.
