Job Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver items to specified addresses promptly, adhering to scheduled timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all items received and delivered using specialized tracking devices.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery instructions or updates via communication devices.
- Operate the company's vehicles safely, ensuring timely and efficient package delivery to designated locations.
- Maintain delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles.
- Conduct routine checks on company vehicles and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to package handling and customer interactions.
- Keep a professional appearance and ensure the vehicle is always clean and presentable.
- Inform management of delays, customer concerns, and potential improvements to delivery routes and procedures.
- Handle packages carefully and interact with customers courteously to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain vehicle and cargo security by adhering to company security protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages to support delivery operations.
Job Requirements
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry packages.
- Ability to navigate streets and follow directions.
- Proficiency in using smartphones and GPS navigation apps.
