Job Description:
- Examine blueprints and work orders to establish layout & design of fences.
- Conduct site inspections to measure and mark reference points accurately for installations.
- Cut fence rails and install different types of fencing such as panel, wooden fencing.
- Mix and pour concrete in post holes.
- Perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of exterior prefabricated fencing using specialized tools like screwdrivers, hammers etc.
- Join, weld, and secure the fence segments in place.
- Communicate with clients to identify the type and functions of the fencing they require.
- Review and provide an estimate on work timeline and materials required.
- Examine fences and ensure they are installed correctly and safely.
- Trim and polish fences as required by the clients.
- Remove and clear old fences, debris, rocks, and prepare the ground.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- A minimum of 6 months to one year of experience in the similar field is required.
- On the job training will be provided.
- Driver’s licence is an asset.
