Job Title: communication technician - construction (Full Time)
Work Location Address: 68 Eastern avenue, 5 Brampton, Ontario, L6W 1X8, Canada
It is a construction and renovation company. We get contracts for commercial and residential properties. We are doing floor, washroom, Concrete work, door-window, and other related works. The duties include -
- Install, remove, maintain and repair aerial, underground telephone, coaxial and fiber optic television, and other telecommunication transmission and distribution lines, cables, and associated hardware
- Interpreting and Implementing plans and specifications from engineers and architects.
- ensuring that all building regulations, safety codes, and health standards are adhered to strictly.
- Assisting in the coordination and monitoring of various subcontractors and construction workers
- Conduction on-site inspections, test, and reviewing lines ans cables
- Maintaining records of processes, incidents, and progress reports for senior management
- Claim and work on poles, ladders, and workplaces such as trenches, tunnels etc.
- Cutting, and installing fibre optic
- Removing and replacing wires, power supplies, amplifiers and other associated transmission and distribution equipment
- Preparing cost estimates and orders
